How is this different from Unbounce or Instapage?

Those are page builders with testing bolted on — and they meter your visitors (Unbounce's $29 plan caps at 500/mo). FunnelSplit is testing-first: server-side assignment, Bayesian decisions, automatic promotion — plus the pages, forms, CRM and automations, with no visitor caps on any plan.

Do I need to install a JavaScript snippet?

No. Variants are chosen on our servers before the page is sent, so there's no flicker and nothing to install. External pages can still be tested with split links.

What does "Bayesian auto-winner" actually mean?

Instead of a p-value you get a plain probability: "B beats A with 97.8% certainty." When that clears your threshold (default 95%) with a minimum sample per variant, the winner is promoted to the live page automatically. You set the thresholds; you can always decide manually instead.

Can I use my own email service?

That's the only way it works — connect your SMTP, Mailgun, SendGrid or Postmark credentials (stored encrypted). Your automations send from your domain and your reputation stays yours.

What happens when I hit a plan limit?

You get a clear in-app message — never a surprise bill, never deleted data. Caps are hard stops you can raise by upgrading.
